I just saw your response about DAS cards, which our autistic son utilizes. You said the cards are no longer used but sounds like we need a smart phone to remember our times in MDE. Our phones don't have that capability. Can we still have a card?

    Hello, Jaynee!

Thank you for your question! This past spring the Disability Access Service (DAS) moved from using paper cards to linking the DAS to theme park media (MagicBands or admission tickets). Although you will no longer receive a card, you must still visit a Cast Member at the desired attraction to secure a DAS return time. The Cast Member will verbally give you the return time and note it electronically. Therefore, it is not necessary to have the My Disney Experience mobile app to utilize the DAS. A friend of mine, who also uses the DAS for her son, keeps a small notebook with her to note the return time, and to serve as a visual reminder for him of his theme park schedule. I know another family that sets an alert on a watch to help them keep track of DAS return times.

I hope this helps to clarify, and you have a magical time making memories with your family! Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
