I saw you answered a previous question about the Disney cruise out of Galveston on April 26. Do kids have to dress up for formal nights?

    Welcome aboard, Rebekah!

Wow! You only have a few days left until you set sail! You must be getting very excited!

That particular sailing will have both a Formal Night and Semi-Formal Night. Children do get dressed up for these evenings, and my family loves to use those nights as great excuses for some wonderful family photos! Even the characters will be dressed in their formal best on those nights.

You'll see a wide range of Formal and Semi-Formal attire on children on the ship. We've seen anything from little tuxedos on the boys and princess dresses on the girls to just a dress shirt and dress pants or nice khakis on the boys and a sweet summer dress on the girls. Of course, if you'd prefer to stay in your casual clothes, you can always swing by Topsider Buffet for dinner so you won't feel the need to dress up, as the dress code is Cruise Casual every night there.

I hope that helps as you begin packing for your cruise next week! Have an amazing trip, Rebekah!
