We are going to be a saratoga springs for NYE. As two adult couples what could we do for NYE ? Is Saratoga Springs having anything on the resort grounds? Is Jellyrolls at boardwalk hosting a NYE event and if so what are the details

    Hi Matilde,

My family and I were at Walt Disney World for New Year's Eve last year, and we had a wonderful time. We rung in the new year at Disney's Hollywood Studios, enjoying fireworks as well as great music by Mulch, Sweat and Shears. It was so much fun!

There are many ways to celebrate New Year's Eve at Walt Disney World. Epcot, Magic Kingdom Park, and Disney's Hollywood Studios will all be celebrating with fireworks and festivities. The link I provided also includes a list of restaurants offering special New Year's Eve dining options. You could also head to Downtown Disney for New Year's Eve; however, please note that there are not fireworks on New Year's Eve at Downtown Disney. Of these options, I would probably choose, since you are a group of adults, to spend the evening at Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Another possibility for a place to ring in the new year is Disney's BoardWalk. Although I do not know of any special plans here for New Year's Eve, both Jellyrolls and Atlantic Dance Hall have late hours listed, with both open until 2:00 a.m. on New Year's Day.

As to special activities for New Year's Eve at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, I called and checked with a cast member who let me know that there is a New Year's Eve party listed on the activities for that night starting at 8:00 p.m.; however, there were no additional details available. I suggest that you check with the cast member when you check in to the resort to see what details have been released.

I hope that these thoughts give you some options for your New Year's Eve celebration, Matilde. Please do let us know if you have any further questions.
