Hello! Santa is surprising our children with a trip to Walt Disney World in March 2014! Our daughter will be a little over 3, and our son will be a bit over 2. How is the weather typically early March? What about the crowds?

Hi Ciji! Christmas morning will definitely be exciting at your house this year! Be sure to turn on the Disney Parks Christmas Day parade on ABC to show your kids where Santa's sending them in March!

March is a fun time to visit Walt Disney World. Because many schools have spring break in March, the parks can be busy, but the crowds are not unmanageable. Attendance levels in the parks will likely be lower at the beginning of March, but will increase as Spring Break season arrives in mid-March. Plan to arrive at the parks before they open each morning and you'll be able to experience lots of attractions without little waiting. Use Disney's FastPass service to schedule your most desired attractions.

The weather is generally very pleasant in March, with average high temperatures in the upper 70s. It can be cool at night or early in the morning, so plan to dress in layers that you can peel off or pile on as needed.
