We have the salute to the military tickets and they are linked to our magic bands already. When my husband goes to activate the tickets does he have to have all our magic bands to make sure they are active.

Hi there, Amber! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop by and allowing us to help you plan your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

Walt Disney World Resort is a great place for all families to come together and experience the magic of fin-filled memories! As a show of appreciation, there are often discounted rates on tickets or Disney Resort hotel rooms for members of the U.S. military. Currently, members of the U.S. military and their families can take advantage of a very special ticket offer at Walt Disney World Resort! This can be a great way to save money while also celebrating the whole family!

Armed Forces Salute Tickets must be activated prior to use, though, you can link your tickets to your My Disney Experience account prior to activation. This allows you to move forward with creating your plans as well as make FastPass+ reservations before activating your tickets. When activating your tickets, your husband must bring his Military ID and all Guests that will be using the tickets must be present. Once your tickets are activated, you will be free to visit the parks with or without your husband present. Simply scan your MagicBand and you will be good to go!

Have fun continuing to plan for your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
