We will be sailing on the Wonder in January 2017. We have booked main seating. Worried that the live shows will be at capacity and will miss the performance unless we line up early? Have you ever missed one of the live shows by arriving last minute?

    Ahoy Rachelle –

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and congratulations on your plans to sail the Wonder in January! The Wonder is one of my favorite ships, not only because it comes to my home state, but also due to the fabulous cast members onboard. You will get to experience a special treat because by the time you sail, the Wonder will be reimagined with a new restaurant, updates to the Oceaneer Club and a new pub in the adult section of the ship. Now, do not worry about missing any of the live shows just because you are in main dining.  There is plenty of time to enjoy your meal, dessert, coffee and then meander to the show. As a Platinum cruiser with plenty of sailings under my belt, I have never seen any of the shows max out. I have not seen any crazy lines either. The reason for this is that the Walt Disney Theatre is so big, you have to work hard to remember that you are actually on a ship! Also, there are 2 showings, and the shows are broadcast to the stateroom televisions (providing 3 opportunities to view them). Rachelle, now you can focus on planning the other aspects of your trip with no more worries about the shows. Thanks for stopping by!
