Family fun on board

We are sailing on the Verry Merrytime Dream in early December. Will there only be holiday themed deck parties? Or will there still be a Pirate themed party? Thanks!

    Welcome aboard, Katie!

My family and I have sailed on a few of Disney's Very Merrytime cruises and have had such magical adventures on each one. It's always fun to cruise with Captain Mickey, but there's something all the more special about sailing during the Christmas season when the ship is decked from deck to deck! I just adore the scent of the life-sized gingerbread house in the atrium lobby as we walk through that area each day. Ah, heavenly! And when my kids were younger, seeing the sparkle in their eyes as Santa arrived and made it "snow" in the atrium of the ship, that was magical!

There are so many extra special events going on during the Very Merrytime sailings including the Deck the Deck Holiday party up on the pool deck. I have such fond memories of my kids during these parties, especially one where they both got up on the stage with their favorite characters to conga and do the limbo under a giant candy cane!

Pirate Night is still on for these sailings, so don't forget to pack your swashbuckling gear to party down with the pirates IN the Caribbean during your cruise, Katie!

Yes, you're in for themed parties, special Christmas activities and Character Greetings, and more holiday fun, all the while enjoying the best parts of a what's included in every Disney Cruise Line voyage! It's the way to go!
Have fun planning this cruise, Katie! We're happy to help again if you have other questions throughout the year before you head out to sea!
