Hi there! Our 2nd sailing scheduled this September and we will be taking a shuttle to the port, leaving 10am. If we happen to arrive later than planned, will our boarding number be based on our selected port arrival time, or the time we actuality arrive?

    Ahoy Amber!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Congratulations on joining the Castaway Club and booking your second Disney Cruise!  I am excited you are joining Captain Mickey for another high seas adventure!

If you are like me, embarkation day is like the first day of school.  I need to get up, get going and get to port so I can show off my new clothes!  I want to arrive at the port terminal and board the ship as early as possible so I can hear my name called and get my vacation started.

I can understand your concern with your actual arrival time when taking a shuttle to port.  Your boarding number will be assigned to you based on your actual arrival time at the port terminal.  If you arrive earlier than your scheduled Port Arrival Time however, you may be asked to wait to enter the terminal and assigned a higher boarding number.

If you do end up spending some time waiting at the port terminal, be sure to keep a keen eye out for some of your Disney favorites.  There are Character Greetings at the terminal which make your wait time fly by!  Just in case we do end up waiting longer than expected, I do carry a deck of playing cards in my carry on as well.

Be sure to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App as well before you arrive for your sailing.  The magic comes alive once you check in and board the ship.  You can view dinner menus, onboard activities and all your reservations.  I also love the cute countdown feature available until your sail date!

    Enjoy making magical memories!  Angie
