    Julie from ID Asked

We are sailing on a 4-night cruise with 10 members of our family (my husband and I, our two children and their spouses and our four grandchildren) in three staterooms. We would like to have family pictures taken. What is the best way to do this?

Welcome back, Julie! When you head out to sea with your big crew, there are plenty of opportunities for some great family photos!

Disney Cruise Line offers professional portrait sessions each evening with a variety of backdrops, as well as with the Disney characters during Meet and Greets, in the atrium lobby. No need to pre-schedule it, as you can simply show up with your group and visit with the photographers near the background of your choice for some wonderful shots. You'll be pleasantly surprised at how great the photographers are. They have worked with my family many times to get the perfect family shot, really making it fun for the kids, especially when they were very young and family photos were more difficult.

If you would like to schedule a different type of photo shoot with your family, just swing by Shutters, the photography studio onboard, and chat with the photographers there who can work with you and suggest the best ideas for your family.

Before you set sail, you may want to consider pre-ordering a photo package through My Cruise Photos. Then, take advantage of as many photo opportunities onboard and at Castaway Cay as you can, and you'll receive them all on a photo cd before you leave the ship. Alternatively, Shutters sells individual prints onboard. There are so many options!

Have fun planning this big adventure at sea! I'm sure you'll bring home many magical memories!
