We are sailing on the Magic at the end of March. Is the shuttle available the day before the cruise. We are trying to ensure we don't miss boarding in the event of flight delays.

Welcome aboard, Kim! It's almost time for your family to set sail on the newly re-imagined Disney Magic! I was just on the Magic for the first time since it's complete re-design, and was so excited with all of the new updates! You're in for such fun!

It's a great idea to fly in the day before your sailing, just to be sure that flight delays and weather don't keep you from getting onboard in time. Disney Cruise Line offers ground transfers from the airport to Port Canaveral for $35 per person each way. These are the way to go, I assure you. They take care of all of the details making it so easy to transition from land to sea and back again. However, these transfers run on the morning of the sailing, not the night before. So, your best bet is to stay at the Hyatt at the Orlando airport, as they have a relationship with Disney Cruise Line. They assist with getting your bags to the ship and you just show up to take the transportation. It's so easy.

Alternately, you could fly in the night before and stay at the Walt Disney World Resort for some extra Disney magic! The resorts offer the complimentary Magical Express transportation from the airport to the resort. Then, Disney Cruise Line offers the same ground transfers from the resorts to the ship for $35 per person each way the next morning. I love doing this because we get to play at the resort, explore Downtown Disney or have a character meal that night then get ready to head to the ship in the morning to set sail!

Of course, there are hotels in Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral that offer transportation to the cruise port in the morning, but you'll have to find your own transportation from the airport to the hotel.

I hope those give you some good options for staying the night before you sailing and easily getting to the port, Kim! Let me know if I can help with anything else before you set sail!
