Three Generations Aboard Ship

Hi! We will be sailing on the Fantasy Star Wars Cruise in April, and I was wondering if light sabers and toy swords are allowed on the ship. Thanks!

    Ahoy, Carol!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! My crew is also looking forward to an EPIC adventure on the Disney Fantasy in April! We can't wait for this galactic experience when the ship celebrates the Star Wars Day at Sea while we are aboard. There are so many things I'm excited about from the special character appearances, to the ship's horns playing the Star Wars music to the Star Wars-themed dinner menu. It's all going to be spectacular! Costumes are encouraged for this out-of-this-world celebration so lightsabers can be brought onboard as long as they are store-bought.

Not only will your crew get to experience a Star Wars-themed day on your sailing, but you'll also enjoy a swashbuckling good time on Pirate Night. Mickey and his gang will be in their pirate garb so you'll want to be decked out too! Plastic toy swords are permitted so those can be packed along with your eye patches, plastic hooks and gold earrings! You'll receive bandanas in your stateroom before all the festivities begin. Pirate Night is one of my favorite times to take advantage of the ship's photographers. The characters will be around the Grand Lobby Atrium for photo opportunities so check your cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator, for all the details.

Carol, your sailing on the Disney Fantasy will be here real soon. If you think of any additional questions, please let us know.

    Have a magical day!
