We are sailing on the Fantasy December 5th for our 34th anniversary. (our 2nd Disney cruise) What are the best value/best organized excursions in St. Thomas? My husband can't do the snorkeling/diving due to health. Please give us your opinion. TIA

    Happy Anniversary, Nancy!

You've picked an awesome vacation choice to celebrate! Your Very MerryTime Cruise on the Disney Fantasy will also have the ship beautifully decorated for the holiday season. You will have a blast!

My family and I sailed on the Fantasy just last month, and we enjoyed a very leisurely day at St. Thomas. We've never been there before, so we chose to do a bus tour, which took us to the main sites on the island. My husband and I did decide, that on our next trip back to St. Thomas, we would make sure to spend time at St. John. We heard lots of great things about the next island and we're definitely heading back out there if we find ourselves visiting the same area.

There are Port Adventures that list the type of activity and a description of what to expect on the Disney Cruise Line website. The Best of St. Thomas Island Tour was a mild excursion, and this tour allowed us to take gorgeous pictures around the island. From the Port Adventures site, another mild activity tour is the St. John Island Tour. You'll likely be back early enough to check out the port shopping area. We asked our bus driver to drop us off where the retail shops and restaurants were in the port area, since we had plenty of time until all-aboard time.

    I hope this helps, Nancy!
