Sailing on the Dream on May 8th. Do wee need to bring our own life jackets for kids ages 8 and 5 or are they provided on Castaway Cay? Are jackets provided on the aquaduck - can my 5 yr old who is 42 inches ride the duck with an adult?

    Hi, Molly!

Your cruise on the Disney Dream is so very close now! How exciting! You are going to think you're living a dream when you sail aboard this magnificent ship.

You do not need to pack your own life jackets for your children. They are provided complimentary by the pools as well as on Castaway Cay. However, on the AquaDuck, the water is not deep, and you're never in a pool of water -- the water pushes you through the tube.

Guests must be 42 inches tall to ride the AquaDuck, and single riders must be at least 54 inches or taller. Children under 7 may ride with someone 14 years of age or older, provided the child is at least 42 inches tall. So, I think your 5 year old is a lucky duck! I hope this helps you make some last-minute plans.

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
