We are sailing on the Dream Aug 10. Wanted to know if my 6 year old does the bile ride at Castaway Cay Does she need to bring a helmet from home or do can we rent them? Also, do we need to bring a beach blanket for our day at Castaway Cay? Thank You!

    Greetings, Rupika!

Wow - you'll be sailing on the Disney Dream in a few short sleeps... are you and your crew excited yet? It's the final countdown to your trip and guaranteed - everyone will have a splashtacular time!

You'll be visiting my favorite island of them all, Castaway Cay. Nowhere else can you find such an amazing oasis in the middle of beautiful Bahamian waters. Disney's private island will want to keep you coming back for more, and you'll soon find out why.

Biking on Castaway Cay is a definite family favorite activity for us. It's a great mellow ride and it's a nice way to get you familiar with the different spots on the island. Bike helmets will be available for you and your child when you pick up your bikes on the island. There are different sizes available and one is bound to fit your princess. There is no additional cost, since the helmets are included in the cost of the bike rental already.

There are beach chairs and umbrellas on the island and the towels will also be right there for you. There's not much else to bring, other than your sunblock and your swimsuit. If you'd prefer to lay on the sand, you are more than welcome to bring your own beach blanket. You don't even have to worry about lunch on the island - you can look forward to an all-you-care-to-eat BBQ. Be prepared to spend an awesome day at Castaway Cay. Don't forget the camera!

    Bon voyage!
