We are Sailing on the Disney Wonder for an Alaskan Cruise this summer. Which nights are formal nights, semi-formal and Frozen scheduled so we can book Palos around these nights.

    Ahoy, Larry!

What an AMAZING adventure you have planned for this summer on the newly re-imagined Disney Wonder! Alaska is such a unique itinerary, and you'll be in awe each day whether you are sailing the inside passage, cruising through Tracy Arm or docked in one of the three quaint ports-of-call! You'll want to take pictures of everything, but trust me when I say, they don't do this breathtaking scenery justice. So be sure to soak it in through your eyes and a set of binoculars because it's nothing like what you see in your home state of Texas!

I like that you are already thinking about indulging in an adult-only dining experience at the Italian-inspired Palo. Did you know the name Palo comes from the long poles that are used by gondoliers in Venice, and the Disney Wonder was built in Venice? (I just love Disney Cruise Line trivia!) I know you'll enjoy a dinner here on your sailing this summer, and the views will be spectacular especially since you'll be able to take advantage of the extra hours of daylight. Schedules are always subject to change, but in the past, formal night has been on Day Two with semi-formal night on Day Five. On the 7-night Disney Wonder sailings this past November and December, Frozen, A Musical Spectacular was on the same night as the semi-formal night so this could be the case this summer, but Disney Cruise Line has not released any information about scheduling. My best advice is to select a night for your dinner at Palo when your online booking window opens up and double-check the nightly schedule when you check-in at the port. Disney Cruise Line does hold back a handful of reservations for embarkation day, so the front of your newsletter will list the details on how to make a change. I did this on my last cruise, and it only took about five minutes!

Thank you for stopping by, Larry! Good luck with your plans.
