Family fun on board

We are sailing on the Disney Fantasy on May 5- 7 nights. We fly out of MCO on May 13, and were looking to stay in the Disney Springs area. Any recommendations on shuttle or transportation? Thanks!

    Hi Becky!

Welcome!!  WOW!!  Your sailing is fast approaching and before you realize it, you will be aboard the amazing Disney Fantasy and off on an incredible adventure!  You have so much to look forward to onboard and at the ports you will be visiting!  Prepare for a week full of fun, sun and many magical moments!

You have the right idea by adding an extra night to the tail end of your vacation; and Disney Springs is a perfect place to continue the Disney magic before your vacation must come to an end.  I always recommend using Disney Cruise Line ground transfers but, unfortunately, transfers directly to Disney Springs are not available. In your situation, I would suggest using a Disney Cruise Line transfer to a nearby Walt Disney World Resort (Saratoga Springs is a good, close option) and then take a bus or taxi to Disney Springs.  If that seems too troublesome with luggage, then I might recommend using a private taxi service, Uber or Lyft.  We have used Uber to/from Port Canaveral with good luck on previous sailings when we were in a time crunch and we pre-arranged our transportation so we had a car waiting for us when we disembarked.

When you realize mid-way into your week at sea that you are having just the BEST TIME EVER and that you don't want the fun to end, be sure to visit the Future Cruise desk to book your next adventure at sea!  That way when you disembark, you can say “See Ya Real Soon!” instead of “goodbye…”!

    Happy Sailing!
