We will be sailing on our 4th Disney Cruise in Sept. on board the Fantasy! Can my husband use his credit card to secure our on board charges even though his name is connected to another stateroom? We have one Florida resident adult in each stateroom.

    Ahoy, Frances!

Congratulations on your 4th Disney Cruise! The Fantasy is such a beautiful ship, be sure to head to the adult district and spend some time in The Tube, they have tons of fun adult activities in the evenings!

Are your two staterooms currently linked together? If not, you will want to call my good friends at Disney Cruise Line Reservations to have them link the reservation numbers. This ensures that you will be seated together for meals plus you will be able to book Port Adventures for everyone when your booking window opens up.

When doing the online check-in, your husband can select whose charges he (meaning his credit card) will be responsible for. At that time, he can select himself and you for that option.

A couple years ago, my husband and I cruised with his parents, and had our rooms similarly booked to what you have described. It was easy to adjust the charges to have us pay for our own.

I hope this helps with planning your voyage on the Disney Fantasy! Please visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel with more questions as your cruise gets closer.

    Happy Cruising, Tracy V.

“If you can dream it, you can do it” just about sums up my life. I am a mother of two amazing girls and wife to a fantastic man, all of whom support my passion for all things Disney. I am a thrill seeker, and have been fortunate enough to go parasailing high above the Disney Fantasy, zip-lining in St. Lucia, and swimming with stingrays in Grand Cayman – all while sailing the seas with Disney Cruise Line. I would love to help you plan your Disney Cruise Line vacation! Learn More About Tracy
