I want to sail only on the Wonder or Magic. Will I be able to book a 4 to 5 day cruise to the Bahamas from Port Canaveral on one of the two ships? If I have to catch the boat in Miami, is their a ground transfer from Orlando Airport or WDW resorts?

Welcome back, Lurline! My two favorite Disney ships are the Magic and the Wonder! While I certainly also love Dream and Fantasy, I prefer the smaller ships with a more intimate atmosphere, so the Magic and the Wonder are tops on my list!

You'll be happy to know that while the Dream and Fantasy always sail from Port Canaveral, at certain times the Wonder or Magic may say from there as well. The Disney Wonder is currently scheduled to sail on three and four night cruises from Port Canaveral in February, March, and April of 2018. Check out the Find A Cruise page, then select Wonder from the Ships drop down menu and Port Canaveral from the Departs drop down menu. That will give you the current listing of those upcoming itineraries for next year. The Wonder is currently sailing this week out of Port Canaveral too, but I doubt you're headed to the port in the next few days! Wouldn't that be nice though?

Disney Cruise Line offers optional ground transfers to and from Port Canaveral from both the Orlando International Airport as well as the Walt Disney World Resorts. My family and I always take advantage of letting Disney do the driving when we stay at one of Mickey's resorts before we sail. They make it so easy to transition from land to sea and back again!

However, if you plan to stay at Walt Disney World and then sail from Miami, your easiest option would be to rent a car to drive down. There is a car rental center right on Walt Disney World property which makes it super easy to rent! Have fun planning, Lurline!
