Ahoy, Nan!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and congratulations on your upcoming cruise with Captain Mickey! I know you'll love escaping the chilly January weather to enjoy a "Dream"y sailing to the
Bahamas with your crew. And you are very smart to arrive a day early just in case there are any unexpected travel issues. We always plan to arrive a day prior to departure no matter what time of year, which makes our embarkation day smooth and seamless.
Nan, you'll board a Disney Cruise Line motor coach on Side B, Level 1 on the morning of your cruise. This is the same location as
Disney's Magical Express that services the Walt Disney World Resort. When you enter the building, you'll see an area designated for Disney Cruise Line Guests. The motor coach buses will run continuously through the early afternoon beginning at 9:00 a.m. You'll want to have your vouchers handy when you arrive and have all your luggage tagged with the Disney Cruise Line luggage tags (vouchers and tags will arrive in the mail a few weeks before you set sail). All of your tagged bags will arrive outside your stateroom door during the afternoon hours so you'll want to pack your carry-on with anything you might need until 5:00 p.m. or so. This may include your passports or birth certificates, medications, swimsuits and sunscreen!
I hope you'll sail back over with more questions, Nan! We are always happy to help.
Have a wonderful day!
Nancy
