Does the Safari ride at Animal Kingdom have a night time cruise?

    Hello Nancy,

Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park continues to be one of the most stunning and beautifully designed parks I have ever seen. The abundance and beauty of life is recreated, displayed and shared throughout this park through its architecture, landscaping and ever so amazing wildlife creatures.

The Kilimanjaro Safaris attraction is a 110-acre wildlife reserve and is home to 34 different species of animals. This is a Guest favorite and FastPass+ is highly recommended. The ride is open during regular operating hours and does not offer a nighttime expedition.

However, if you would like to have a more behind the scenes exploration of this area, Wild Africa Trek is a privately guided 3 hour tour provided to Guests for an additional cost. This tour takes you into the habitats of these animals and gives you a closer and more detailed look of the animals and how Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park cares for them. Guest are also treated to a catered meal as well a PhotoPass ID code with pictures of your adventure. To reserve call (407) 939-8687.

If you are a Guest, staying at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge or Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas- Jambo House and Kidani Village, then consider the Night Safari. This hour long expedition takes Guest on an excursion around the grounds of the resort, while traveling in an open-sided safari vehicle. With nighttime goggles Guests are treated to an illuminating vision of animals in their nightly routines. There is a fee for this guided tour and a portion is donated to Disney's Worldwide Conservation Fund, call (407) 938-4755 to book or for further information.

May your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World be a magical and memorable adventure.
