We're running the Tower of Terror 10 miler & we don't know where to eat before the race. We'd like a carb heavy lunch that’s not greasy, followed by a light dinner. Dinner at 7, but finishing by 8. No fish please. Any suggestions? Help!

    Hi Rachel!

There are plenty of places to eat on Disney property.  I am assuming you don't want to eat inside of a park because that would require theme park admission, so I am recommending that you look at Downtown Disney.

Downtown Disney has a lot of choices.  For your pasta lunch, Portobello  would be a great pick.  Another favorite of mine, that offers a bit of everything, is Paradiso 37.   Browse through the Dining Options at Downtown Disney, there is really something for everyone.

For your dinner, I would just do a light counter service somewhere.  My plan is to buy some plain bagels at my resort shop and spread peanut butter on them for dinner.  I will add a banana and then, closer to the race, I will eat a protein bar.  I figure I can eat something bigger after the race!

I hoe this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
