Hi! I am running the Disney Half Marathon and just found out the hotel I am staying at doesn't provide transportation to the park in the morning for the race. Do you have a suggestions on the best way to get there in the morning? Rental Car or Cab? Thanks!

Great to hear from you again, Carly!

If you're staying at a Walt Disney World® Resort Hotel, transportation is provided to all race activities. However, if you are off-property at a nearby hotel, I know there are only a few that provide transportation.

Without knowing where you are calling home during this race weekend, I can't really assess how much your cab fare would be trying to get to and from the race. That said, my advice for convenience and overall enjoyment of your race experience is to rent a car, even if it's only for the day. The peace of mind that comes with having your own transportation will be worth it. Not only will you be able to head to the race when your ready (go early!), but you will be able to sit in your car to have your banana and coffee. This is especially beneficial if it's cold or raining. You will also be able to head straight back once you've completed the race, and not have to stand around waiting for a cab.

I hope this helps in planning out your race morning, Carly! Please let me know if any additional questions should come up as you finalize your preparations.

    Have a magical race!
