Three Generations Aboard Ship

Is there 5k run with each trip to Castaway Cay? If so, what time does it usually begin? We are looking at doing para-sailing also, but we don't want to overlap the two activities. Thanks!

    Ahoy Carl!
As a fellow runner, I love getting off the boat and going for my morning run on Disney's beautiful Bahamian paradise.  Although scheduling is always subject to change, the Castaway Cay 5K has become a staple event when the ships docks on the island!  The run is usually around 9:00-9:30 after a short sign-up onboard the ship. When you sign-up, you will receive your official race bib and will then make your way off the ship to head to the starting line at the bike rentals.  The path is paved and flat and there is water along the way.  After crossing the finish line, you will receive the perfect keepsake, a Winner Mickey medal!  Castaway Cay 5K t-shirts also make a great souvenir, and they are for sale at the gift shop right next to the starting line.  You can purchase one before the race if you have time and the store can hold it for you.  You can estimate being done by 10:00am.
I hope you are able to pull off both events, Carl!  Your exact race details will be listed in your Personal Navigator, the daily cruise newsletter, which will be delivered to your stateroom the night before.
If you think of any other questions, please let me know!  I'm always happy to help!
Have a magical day and bon voyage!
