Mom With Kids After Run

I've run 5 races at Disney World. Considering the Tinkerbell Half. I am from southern IN. Which airport do you fly into for Disneyland? Any transportation to the resort? How does this race compare to WDW races. That is favorite place to run! Thanks

    Hi Mary!

I totally agree with you that Disney World is the best place to run!  BUT, you want to know a really close second?  Disneyland!!!  (Although, there are a lot of runDisney runners that will have those two switched)

I have only flown into the Los Angeles (LAX) airport for Disneyland, but I asked some Californians on the panel for their tips.  They say that LAX and SNA are both great options.  SNA (John Wayne Airport) is more convenient to Disneyland, but LAX will usually have better prices.

Both of these airports offer the Disneyland Express.  This is a shuttle service that takes you to your resort.  It is not owned and operated by Disney, nor is it free, but it is a better price and more convenient than other shuttle services offered.  It is the only service that is endorsed by Disney.

I have been pricing both airports for my trip there for the Disneyland Half.  I will also be leaving from Southern Indiana, and while I can find fares to both places, the LAX fare is quite a bit cheaper.

    I hope this helps!

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
