If my room is not ready when I arrive can I still park free at the Parks, and how would I let the parking attendants know that I am a Walt Disney World Resort Guest?

    Hi there, Jaime!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We're glad you stopped by with your question.

I'm happy to report Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel will receive complimentary standard parking at the theme parks and water parks. You should not have to pay an additional fee to park at the theme parks unless you decide to upgrade to preferred parking. On my day of arrival, I have previously visited the theme parks before heading to my Disney Resort hotel and was not charged for parking. When arriving at the theme park, a Cast Member will scan your MagicBand to verify you are a registered Guest staying on property. I do recommend doing online check-in prior to your arrival.

During your visit, you're going to love all of the many benefits of staying at a Disney Resort hotel. As a Disney Resort hotel Guest, you will be able to book FastPass+ selections up to 60 days prior to check-in for your entire length of stay. In addition, you will receive complimentary MagicBands since you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel.

I hope this information has been helpful to you, Jaime. Let us know if you have any new questions. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip!

    Happy Travels,
    Jodie
