    Lisa from NC Asked

Which room is best to pick at the Polynesian, standard room or deluxe studio standard view?

    Aloha, Lisa,

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is one of my family's favorite resorts.  In fact, we stayed there last year and already have reservations to stay there again this summer because we love the resort so much.  While I do like both rooms at the resort, I prefer the deluxe studios because they have two bathrooms: one full bathroom with another one that has a shower and sink.  For my family of 5, this makes getting ready in the morning so much easier.  We also just liked the feel of the rooms a bit more, which is more a personal preference.

The standard rooms will have two distinct beds, which can be advantageous, as the fold-out sofa in the deluxe studio is not as comfortable.  The standard rooms are also located in longhouses (buildings) that are closer to the Great Ceremonial House and main pool. If that is a priority to you, you'll likely prefer these rooms.

To help you get a better feel of the rooms and their views, I'd recommend visiting the independent websites tikimanpages.com and touringplans.com (search for View of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort).  I think these two sources will help you to make a better educated decision about which rooms best fits yours needs.
