Hi again Sherri! How nice of you to come back and ask me! I'm happy to answer all your questions. I personally don't believe it is too much to make Advanced Dining Reservations for Cinderella's Royal Table, Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue, and Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show for your First Trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. In fact, I believe your entire family will thoroughly enjoy each and everyone of these wonderful dining experiences. Which brings me to my next point, it would be a shame if your son didn't have the opportunity to enjoy them too.Typically there is a penalty charge associated with insufficient cancellation notice at these particular table service restaurants. If you read the section titled Guest Policies for each restaurant, it clearly delineates this fact. However, since your family is on the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan your son would have to be physically present to swipe his Key to the World at the conclusion of these experiences for the two meal-credits to be deducted from his card. I will recommend you make further inquiries regarding the specific cancellation policy at the time of reservation booking. Simply contact (407) WDW-DINE to confirm this information. As far as booking for earlier or later shows, that will depend on your family's dining preferences, as well as, the touring plans you have in place for the ten days you'll be visiting. If you don't already have theme-park touring plans, it would be useful to put them together before making Advanced Dining Reservations. Please let me know if I may be able to assist you any further. Have a fantastic and memorable vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!
