Are there rides safe for expecting mothers?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Cassandra!

We are thrilled to receive your awesome question about Walt Disney World Resort attractions.

Cassandra, you may be happy to know that there are many Walt Disney World Resort rides and attractions that are safe for expectant mothers. In fact, I visited the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks during the third trimester of my two pregnancies — and yes, I enjoyed many rides both times!

Barring any limitations imposed by your doctor, you should be able to enjoy 120+ attractions in the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. At the present time, there are only 30 rides with “expectant mothers advisories” at the Walt Disney World Resort theme and water parks. You can see a full list of rides not suitable for expectant mothers by visiting this link.

Disney Mom Tip: You will notice that all but one of the “any height” Walt Disney World Resort attractions are suitable for expectant mothers. The only “any height” attraction that is not suitable for expectant mothers is Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

Cassandra, if you have any additional questions, you are welcome to return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We are all EARS!
