    Ruby from WA Asked

What rides will be open for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party?

    Hi, Ruby!

Mickey just loves the holidays, and he goes all out for his Very Merry Christmas Party. The highlight for me each year is Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. You can't help but get in the holiday spirit after viewing this festive parade. I like to watch it right on Main St USA where there is SNOW in the forecast every night!

During Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, most of the park's attractions will be available to guests. There will be a few closed, such as Tom Sawyer's Island or the Liberty Square River Boat, but all your favorites such as Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin (and more) will be open until midnight for your enjoyment. During this special event, FastPass+ is not available, but lines are usually quite manageable so no worries about wait times.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party requires a separate admission ticket. While the party does not officially start until 7pm, guests with a valid Party ticket can enter the Magic Kingdom as early as 4pm. I suggest an early dinner so once the party starts you can enjoy the stage show, complimentary holiday snacks, the parade, and fireworks.

Allow me to be the first to wish you a very Merry Christmas!
