    Christine from NY Asked

Do any rides at either California park offer single rider lines?

    Hiya, Christine!

I’m thrilled to hEAR that you’re considering a vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth! There’s so much to see and do at the Disneyland Resort right now, starting with Get Your Ears On – A Mickey and Minnie Celebration! I’m loving the Mickey’s Mix Magic nighttime extravaganza and the return of Mickey's Soundsational Parade!

I’m happy to report that yes, both theme parks at the Disneyland Resort offer Single Rider lines on several attractions. Here's a helpful list of those attractions. At Disneyland Park, Single Rider service is available on Matterhorn Bobsleds, Splash Mountain, Indiana Jones Adventure, and Space Mountain. At Disney California Adventure Park, you can find Single Rider service at Grizzly River Run, Incredicoaster, Goofy’s Sky School, and Radiator Springs Racers. Here’s how it works: A Cast Member can direct you to the designated Single Rider queue, where you’ll wait to fill in any remaining seats that aren’t occupied by Guests utilizing Disney FASTPASS or regular stand-by lines. Since you’re filling in empty seats, keep in mind that immediate boarding or choice of seats is not guaranteed. When I’m visiting the parks alone or with friends who don't mind splitting up, I love taking advantage of this service! It’s a great way to maximize your time in the parks by limiting wait times on some of the most popular attractions.

    Wishing you Disney magic!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for about 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 7, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
