What (if any) rides to avoid in Epcot/Animal Kingdom for people with claustrophobia? And same question, same parks, but for people with easily activated motion sickness?

    Hi Monica ~

Those are great questions and I'm glad to see that you're planning ahead. The older I've gotten, I've become claustrophobic. In my experience, here are some attractions that you may want to think about in Animal Kingdom and Epcot.

    Animal Kingdom
    * It's Tough to be a Bug! - The ceiling is low in the queue but once you enter the theater, it opens up.
    * Avatar Flight of Passage - This 4-D experience simulates flying on the back of a banshee and some Guests may experience motion sickness.
    * Expedition Everest - There is a part that goes backwards in the dark which may cause motion sickness.
    * Primeval Whirl - Guests with motion sickness should probably say no to this ride.
    * TriceraTop Spin - This ride goes around like Dumbo and may cause motion sickness.
    * DINOSAUR - This ride is very jerky so it may cause motion sickness.
    * Kali River Rapids - This is a raft ride so if boats going over waves cause motion sickness for you, avoid it.

    Epcot
    * RELAUNCHED! Mission: SPACE - Anyone with claustrophobia and motion sickness should totally avoid it.
    * The Seas with Nemo & Friends - You may be okay but I get a little claustrophobic in the queue and on the ride.
    * Soarin' - This is an amazing ride but Guests with vertigo or motion sickness may not enjoy it.
    * Spaceship Earth - I get claustrophobic on this ride.
    * Test Track - Love this ride but it stops, starts, and turns fast so if you're super sensitive to motion sickness, you may want to think about.
    * Reflections of China - This is in a 360° theater. It doesn't move but there are screens all around you that may cause some motion sickness.
    * Frozen Ever After - This is a boat ride and part of it goes backwards. Depending on your motion sickness level, you may want to think about it.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
