Hi! Which rides, attractions, shows, etc should we book in advance with FP + in the Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Animl Kingdom? We're spending 3 days in the MK and a half day at HS and AK. My daughter will be 4 and a half when we go. Thank you!

    Jessica:

My philosophy on FastPass+ is to use them to avoid both long waits and hot weather. Some attractions with air-conditioned, interactive queues have long waits, but they're manageable than those that are simply outside mazes. With this in mind, these are my thoughts with a child who's 4:

    • Magic Kingdom: Choose a FP+ for the Princess Meet and Greets along with the parades. No child should have to endure waits for these. Best of all, the reserved spots for the parades allow you to take in one more attraction before grabbing your spot, which has excellent viewing.
    • Hollywood Studios: Choose Toy Story Mania for your Tier-1 FP+. (You can get VIP viewing for Fantasmic with the Fantasmic Dining Package or grab dinner and eat it while you wait which is much easier to do in its amphitheater seating than street-level spots for the MK parade.) If your child is adventurous, get one for Tower of Tower.
    • Animal Kingdom: If your daughter loves characters, get the meet-and-greet. If she enjoys attractions and she'll meet the height requirements, choose Expedition Everest, Kali River Rapids and Kilimanjaro Safaris. If you want a good "spot" for a show and dislike long waits and lines, choose the FP+ for Finding Nemo--the Musical. It's the one show at Disney that I feel really needs a seat in its lower section for optimal enjoyment.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
