Are any rides or attractions that a pregnant mother can ride with her child?

    Hi Jennifer,

You should check with your doctor first, but several of us on the panel have visited the parks with a future Disney fan on board, myself included!  There are many attractions in each of the parks that are very slow moving , and generally well tolerated by expecting moms.  In fact, the list of things you won't be able to ride is much shorter than the list of things you can.  Obviously, thrill rides, simulators, and those with a sudden drop are not recommended for pregnant women.  However, these are clearly indicated on the park maps and at the attraction locations.  At Magic Kingdom, It's a Small World, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, Tomorrowland Transit Authority, Jungle Cruise and Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin are just a few of the attractions you will be able to experience.  At Epcot, Nemo, Journey into Imagination, Living with the Land, and the attractions at Mexico, France and Canada are all good choices.  At Hollywood Studios, The Great Movie Ride and any of the fabulous shows are good bets.

I recommend not pushing yourself, staying hydrated and taking breaks inside air conditioned restaurants and/or shops when you are tired.  Heading back to your resort for a midday swim or rest is a good idea as well.

    Have a wonderful trip!
