Can you use Rider Swap on rides that you have a FastPass for?

    Hi Leslie,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question! We’ve used Rider Switch during several of our visits to Walt Disney World Resort with our little guy, both before and after he met the height requirement for certain rides (he’s not a big fan of roller coasters or other thrill rides).

I’m pleased to report that you can absolutely use Rider Switch for attractions that you’ve included within your party’s FastPass+ selections. This means that the first party will be able to use the FastPass+ line in order to get the Rider Switch pass, and then that the second party will be able to use that line to experience the attraction as well. If you have any questions about how the system works at a given attraction, the Cast Member at the attraction’s entrance will be able to explain how it all works (some attractions have different rules/requirements to be able to get a Rider Switch pass).

    Have a Magical Day,

Meet the Panelist: Lynne, Quebec

Hi, I’m Lynne from Montreal, Quebec, Canada! I’m a working mom who enjoys snuggles with my son and my husband, who has been my sweetheart since 1997. We’ve been lucky enough to experience several milestones in Walt Disney World, including our wedding and honeymoon in 2009. As Disney Vacation Club members, we often plan trips for large, and sometimes even multi-generational, groups to come and enjoy the fun with us. Learn More About Lynne
