Rider swap and fast pass. Do you both need to have a fast pass for a ride or can 1 parent have the fast pass while the spouse is staying w baby then rider swap? Or do we need to use 2 fast passes?

    Hi Katherine!

It sounds like you are getting ready for an incredible Walt Disney World Resort vacation with a little one! We brought both of our boys to meet Mickey for the first time when they were babies and we had so much fun enjoying the Disney magic with them. Some of my favorite memories from those trips were seeing their bright smiles as they enjoyed the attractions, Character Experiences and entertainment in the theme parks. Be sure to consider investing in Memory Maker for your trip so you can capture all of these magical moments!

Rider Switch is a great way to ensure that the "big kids" are able to enjoy the attractions on their "must-do" list, even though they are traveling with little ones who aren't tall enough to enjoy everything! I love to use Rider Switch when I'm traveling with my family because my husband and I can still enjoy our favorite thrill rides. Rider Switch was recently upgraded to be completely digital, allowing you to access your Rider Switch entitlements with your MagicBand or admission card. If you will be using Rider Switch for attractions that you are planning to enjoy using the FastPass+ System, I recommend that you make a FastPass+ reservation for all Guests who will be riding. Cast Members may check the entire group's FastPass+ reservations, not just the first Guest riding, so you want to be sure to have reservations for all Guests who plan to enjoy the attraction.

Be sure to come back to see us if you have additional questions as you continue planning. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
