With rider swap, does everyone in the party need to have a FP (inc the non-riding child) to go in the FP line or just the first riders? Will the 2nd adult get to go in the FP line using the swap pass and not have the originally FP loaded onto their bands?

    Hi there, Melissa!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm glad you stopped by with your question!

Oh, boy! Sounds like you're planning a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth! It's so exciting to be able to go to Walt Disney World Resort with little ones! One of the most magical things to do is see Walt Disney World Resort through a child's eyes. The Rider Switch Service is a saving-grace for my family and I! It has saved us so much time because at one point, my little guy would only ride Dumbo the Flying Elephant and nothing else!

First, you will want to look here to see if the Rider Switch Service is offered at the attraction you are wanting to ride. In case you are wondering, both Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance offer it!

The first party riding the attraction will need a FastPass to be able to go through the FastPass+ queue. The second party of up to 3 Guests will not; they will be given a Rider Switch entitlement and will go through the FastPass+ queue. Just remember, when you first approach the attraction, go to the greeting Cast Member working at the queue with your entire party to let them know you'd like to use the Rider Switch Service. The Cast Member will get you all set up for it!

Whenever my husband and I partake in Rider Switch, I plan for the adult to do something with the kiddos while they wait. There is so much to do with your little ones at all four Theme Parks! Here is a Planning Guide filled with activities at each Park.

Melissa, I hope you and your party have the most magical vacation! We'll see ya real soon, pal!
