With rider swap, does everyone in the party need to have a fastpass to go in the FP line or just the first rider(s)? Will the second adult get to go in the FP line using the digital rider swap pass without having an original fast pass? 2 adults with 2 yo.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rebecca! If you're staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel on your upcoming vacation, it's almost your FastPass+ booking day so I'm happy to help you out with some planning when it comes to using FastPass+ in conjunction with the Rider Switch Service.

When you're traveling with a little Mousketeer, Rider Switch makes it so you don't have to miss out on any of your favorite attractions that they're not quite tall enough to ride. In your case, one adult can wait with your two year old while the other one rides, and when that person finishes on the attraction the second adult can enter through the FastPass+ line. To really save some time, you can use Rider Switch and FastPass+ together! When you're booking them later this week, keep in mind that for attractions you want to use Rider Switch for, only the first adult who goes through the queue needs to have a FastPass+ assigned to them if they want to use one. The second rider will be given a Rider Switch entitlement and they can enter the attraction through the FastPass+ line that way! There are attractions with Rider Switch available at all four theme parks, so you don't have to miss out on anything you want to ride.

Here's a tip: Test TrackRock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, and Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain all offer a line for single riders, so skip the FastPass+ and use that instead! They're often just as quick.
