    Molly from OR Asked

Can you ride the Disneyland hotel bus shuttle if not a guest there? We are staying at a motel directly outside the main entrance and want to eat dinner at the Disneyland hotel.

    Hey there, Molly!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so delighted you will soon be visiting the Happiest Place on Earth!

When it comes to arriving to the hotels of the Disneyland Resort from the airport, you can take the convenient Disneyland Resort Express shuttle service. This bus is actually managed by a third party and not the Disneyland Resort itself, so anyone can purchase tickets to any of its destinations without a specific resort reservation. It makes a series of stops in the Anaheim resort area allowing you to get to Disneyland Resort Hotels as well as many Good Neighbor Hotels. Booking for this shuttle service can be done online before your trip or at the airport. Once you arrive to the Disneyland Resort, there are no shuttle buses managed directly by Disney as everything within the Disneyland Resort is easily accessed by foot. Parking lot tram and bus service is available if you choose to park in either of the two parking areas for the theme parks.

Another great way to travel in style around the Disneyland Resort is by Disneyland Monorail. You can hop on this iconic ride near the Disneyland Hotel in the Downtown Disney District with valid theme park admission and arrive right in Tomorrowland of Disneyland Park. This is one of my family's favorite activities, because the views are absolutely stunning as you tour around the entire Disneyland Resort.

For dinner at the Disneyland Hotel, you have so many wonderful options. I love a casual but elegant meal at the Steakhouse 55 Lounge followed by tropical drinks at Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar. Both will offer unforgettable experiences!

Have a magical day, and feel free to return!
