Can you ride with a cast on your arm?

Hi Debbie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Five days... that's all that stands between you and your arrival at the Walt Disney World Resort. How exciting is that?! You will be enjoying your magical vacation in no time.

In my experience, most rides can accommodate someone with their arm in a cast, but you will want to check with your doctor prior to your visit to see if there are certain things you should avoid. Water rides, spinning attractions, thrill rides, etc. may need to be skipped because of the motion, speed and elements found in the attraction. That's why it's best to have some guidance from your doctor prior to your trip, then guidance from Cast Members at the attractions' entrances when you are exploring the theme parks.

Even if you have to skip some of the thrill rides during your trip, you'll find there is still a LOT to experience. As a mom, I have taken both of my children since they were infants and our days were completely full as we rode the rides that were gentle enough for them and didn't have any height restrictions. You may want to take a look at the list of attractions in each theme park to get an idea of what to expect.

Enjoy your trip, Debbie! Please visit us again with any other questions you may have!
