We have the reusable cups from a previous visit to Disney world. Can we use them again on our next visit? We will be using the dining plan again and want to have extra drinks for the kids. Thank you.

    Hi Stephanie!

Welcome Back! So happy to hear that you will be returning to the Walt Disney World Resort! Since you will be using the dining plan, you be receiving new refillable mugs which come equipped with a chip that must be activated in order for you to have your drink dispensed. The ones from your previous stay cannot be reactivated. Once you fill a mug, you will have to wait a few minutes to get another refill. Keeping that in mind, it may not be worth it to bring the old ones.

Did you know?: Staying at a Disney Resort comes with lots of benefits. One of my favorites are the Extra Magic Hours where Guests can enjoy the parks before they open to the general public and after they close to the general public. Additionally, Disney Resort Guests can make their FastPass+ selections up to 60 days before check-in when you have a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation!  Be sure to download your My Disney Experience App for your smart phone!

It has been a real pleasure assisting you! If there are any other questions you may have, please feel free to send them my way!

Thanks for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Happy Planning!
