    Hi Matt!

Thank you for sending me this question. Directly. I really appreciate it.

Traveling to Walt Disney World with young children can be a lot of fun. I recommend taking the time to thoroughly explore the park, which doesn't mean running from attraction to attraction. Instead linger on Main Street, explore Adventureland, and wander through Fantasyland for example. All of the attractions, shops, and restaurants are filled with stories. Take the time to imagine what stories are being told.

I also recommend making some Table Service restaurant reservations. I know some parents dont't want to do that with young children, but it will give you a nice break. My wife and I enjoyed our family time in the restaurants when the boys were young; we didn't always do that at home but at Walt Disney World families are the norm!  Take advantage of that!

Finally, take advantage of rider swap so that both you and your wife can enjoy some of the attractions unsuitable for young children. That will help to make the trip fun for both of you as well.

Enjoy planning your magical Disney vacation and please write back with more questions!
