Hello. Just returned.Thank you. My husband thinks I am a genius because of your information! ? is we want to return in Nov 2010. When is the best time to start the official planning such as resort reservations, deals, events calanders, mvmcp, etc... Thx.

    Hi Linda,

Glad we could help, your secret is safe with us!  I think that it is wonderful that you are ready and eager for another WDW vacation!  There is no time like the present to start your planning and although you can't necessarily book everything at this time, doing your research now will allow you to be fully prepared to make your reservations once the booking windows open.

The most important decision at this point is to decide which resort your would like to stay at.  My favorite site for browsing resorts is www.allearsnet.com because they have a wonderful library of detailed photos of every resort.  The information is well organized and easily accessible.  At this time they have not yet released the 2010 vacation package options, we can expect that to happen sometime in the late summer or early fall.  If you are really specific about the resort you would like, particularly if you are traveling at a busy time such as Thanksgiving you might want to consider booking a room-only reservation now.  This will assure you that at the very least you have the resort you want!  This can be converted into a package deal once they are released (subject to availability).

Once your resort package is booked, you will simply (and unfortunately) have to wait to book your dining reservations and view the park and events calendars.  Disney is working of a new standard of current month plus three for releasing park hours and dining can only be booked 90-days in advance.  These are tough time lines for those of us that are ready to plan NOW for our 2010 vacations!

    Hope this helps!
