    Davina from Hertfordshire Asked

Are there any restrooms with a hoist and changing bed for a young severely disabled adult to use?

Hi, Davina! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question!

The Disneyland Resort has restrooms with handicap-accessible stalls and there are several companion restrooms located throughout each park. While there are handrails to grab onto, there are not any hoisting mechanisms at this time. Some restrooms are equipped with changing tables, but they might only accommodate someone the size of a toddler or small child. Companion restrooms can be found by using a park map or the Disneyland mobile app.

There are also First Aid centers at both parks that have private restroom facilities and nurses on staff should you require additional assistance. The Services for Guests with Disabilities web page is an excellent resource for finding out about Disability Access Service, wheelchair rental, and other services. I would also recommend contacting Disneyland Resort Disability Services at (407) 560-2547 to obtain more information before your trip.

I hope this information was helpful. Please stop by the Disney Parks Moms Panel again if you have any other questions while planning your trip to the Disneyland Resort!
