Are there any restaurants that have fresh made rolls brought to the table for lunch or dinner service? We make our own bread and butter at home, me, my husband and the kids and I am afraid I have them spoiled. Its the Texas way.

    Hi, Catherine!

Some of our favorite restaurants at Walt Disney World serve fantastic bread and rolls before Guests order their meals. Your family will surely be pleased to know that, while not the same as Mom's recipe, these goodies will surely hit the spot when you're away from home.

At Le Cellier Steakhouse in Epcot's Canada Pavilion, we never miss an extra helping of soft pretzel breadsticks, although the sourdough and multigrain are delicious, too. Over at Wolfgang Puck Cafe at Downtown Disney's West Side, we've enjoyed the foccacia on several occasions. At Disney's Hollywood Studios, warm, crusty rolls are a wonderful way to start your meal. The bread service at Epcot's Tutto Italia is also very satisfying. The complimentary bread basket at Yachtsman's Steakhouse (onion pull-apart bread, with roasted garlic in addition to butter) never disappoints and the cornbread at Crossroads at House of Blues at Downtown Disney's West Side will inspire daydreams once you return home.

If you are feeling adventurous, and are looking for a great place to enjoy dinner after a day at Animal Kingdom, then head next door to Animal Kingdom Villas-Kidani Village, where you can order Indian-Style Bread Service (currently $9.99) that includes your choice of 5 breads and 5 accompaniments. We never miss this fantastic dish, and I usually tell our server to order a combination that he or she feels to be the most popular. It's different, but the bread-lover in all of you will really enjoy the exotic variety.

Keep in mind that there are bakeries scattered throughout WDW, so you might enjoy picking up a specialty item there and bring it back to your room for late-night snacks or early-morning bites before breakfast. Try a Roule au Fromage from Les Halles Bakery in Epcot's France Pavilion or a croissant from Starring Rolls Bakery in Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Send more questions as you think of them, Catherine! I'd love to help!
