What restaurants in disneyworls have great food and are ideal for big families (Fam of 6)? How long does it typically take to ft through one of the parks?

    Hi Starla,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to plan a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort for your family!

Food at the Walt Disney World Resort is one of my favorite topics to discuss. The good news is that your family has lots of terrific options. We love to do a few character meals. Chef Mickey's, The Crystal Palace, and Cinderella's Royal Table are a few of our favorites. Your family might also enjoy Coral Reef Restaurant, Rainforest Cafe, 50's Prime Time Café, Be Our Guest, or Liberty Tree Tavern. There are so many restaurants to choose from, just be sure to make dining reservations at the ones you want to try. Epcot, especially, has many delicious options!

Also, if you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel, remember to try the restaurant(s) at your resort hotel. At Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, we love the Turf Club Bar and Grill, at Disney's Contemporary Resort we love the California Grill and at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa we have a fantastic time at Cinderella's Happily Ever After dinner at 1900 Park Fare.

The time it takes to get through the parks will totally depend on how quickly your family moves. My family only moves quickly when we are running late for a Fast Pass+ selection! Otherwise, we tend to stroll. We take two days to do Magic Kingdom. We can typically do Disney's Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios theme parks in one day for each, but Epcot could take multiple days. We also often go to a park in the morning, head back to the resort for an afternoon break and then return to the park in the evening for dinner.

Starla, I trust you will have lots of love and laughter with your family!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
