Is the restaurant fantasmic show in Disney Studios worth it. Do we have to go at night is daytime cool too?

Hi Christine! I'm so glad you asked about Fantasmic! because it's my absolute favorite nighttime entertainment at Walt Disney World Resort. A lot of other people love this show too, because it's recommended that those without reserved seating arrive 90 minutes prior to the start, and often you'll see people lined up on Sunset Boulevard MUCH earlier than that.

Generally there is one showing per night, with two in the busier times of year. And while the theatre is massive, it fills very quickly. I absolutely recommend doing whatever you can to get reserved seats. My parents are joining us at Disney World in a few weeks and we've booked the Dessert and VIP Viewing Experience because I wanted to be 110 percent sure that we had great seats but didn't have to sacrifice two hours of park time. If I had the option to book a Fantasmic! Dining Package I would have jumped all over it in a heartbeat, mainly because the cost of the meal is the same, it just comes with passes for reserved seating.

With the dining package you'll still choose any meal time from three outstanding table-service meals at Disney's Hollywood Studios. For the show, you'll receive paper FastPass type tickets that will allow you to sit in one of the many Reserved Seating sections. It's still recommended to arrive about 20 to 45 minutes before the show, as a lot of other guests also reserve the dining packages. There are restrooms available once inside, as well as concession stands. And you are allowed to bring treats into the theatre. Last trip I found the most amazing "adult" strawberry lemonade slushy from Catalina Eddies which is right across from the theatre entrance.

I do hope this helped, Christine, and I hope that you enjoy Fantasmic! as much as I do!
