    Jeanine from LA Asked

We have resort reservations with 8 days of park tickets/dining. If we arrive one day before our hotel reservation begin, can we start using our park tickets and dining. In other words can we start our 8 days a day before the hotel reservation? Thank you!

Hello Jeanine!  Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

The Magic Your Way Vacation Packages allow you to combine many different elements of a Walt Disney World Resort under one Reservation the entire length of your stay.

With a Magic Your Way Vacation package, the Disney Dining Plans begin on your Online Check-In Day. If you complete the Online Check-In Process through My Disney Experience up to 60 days in advance of your vacation you may begin redeeming your Disney Dining Plan Credits even before you Check-In to your Resort Hotel, but not before your Check-In date.

When guests have Magic Your Way Vacation Packages linked to Guests under their My Disney Experience, they may begin booking FastPass+ Selections and using their tickets as soon as they like.  However, once your Magic Your Way Theme Park Tickets are first used they will expire after 14 days regardless of whether or not all of the tickets have been used.

In your case, activating your tickets one day sooner will not push you past your expiration date for an 8-day Walt Disney World Resort vacation. They will, of course, count towards your total number of redeemable Multi-day Tickets, so be sure to plan accordingly.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
