Are the resort playgrounds open to non-guests? We are staying at Art of Animation but would like to check out Hakuna Matata playground at Animal Kingdom Lodge, the Dig Site at Caribbean Beach and the sandy beach at Colorado Springs. Will we get access?

    Hi Vivian!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for stopping by with your question! I recently visited Disney's Art of Animation Resort and fell in love with the beautifully themed buildings, rooms and amenities! Did you know that Disney's Art of Animation has the largest Resort hotel pool in all of Walt Disney World? If you listen closely while swimming under the water, you might hear some of your favorite friends from Finding Nemo!

Taking time during a Disney Vacation to visit other Walt Disney World Resort hotels is so much fun! I enjoy exploring the restaurants, shops and lobbies of Resorts throughout Walt Disney World. I've found some of my favorite restaurants at Disney while checking out other Resorts! I have great news for you: Guests may enjoy playing on the playgrounds while visiting other Resort hotels that they're not staying at. With that being said, Guests may not swim in a Resort hotel's pool unless they are a Guest staying at that particular Resort.

I'm wishing you a magical time during your upcoming Disney vacation! If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to stop by and visit us again!
