Is resort parking charged by room or car? We are 7 people coming in one car, but I have reserved three rooms.

    Hi Julie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Thank you for visiting us with such a good question.  Coming from the UK, and we always use a rental car when taking holidays at Walt Disney World, and enjoy the flexibility it gives us if we are visiting another Resort hotel in the evening for a dinner reservation or if we are park hopping. Disney Resort Transportation is always available, and complimentary, for every Disney Resort hotel Guest, but sometimes it is nice to have the choice of driving your own car, especially if you do not have much time to spare. Overnight parking charges have recently been introduced at the Walt Disney World Resort hotels (and will vary according to whether you are staying at a Deluxe, Moderate, or Value Resort hotel), and Guests will be charged per vehicle (regardless of the number of rooms you have booked), per night of stay, and this will be added to your room charge.  It's worth noting that self-parking at the Resort hotels remains complimentary if you are visiting for a meal or entertainment or other activities during the day, as long as you are not staying overnight, and all Disney Resort hotel Guests will continue to receive complimentary parking at the four theme parks and there is no charge for parking at the two water parks for all Guests.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical holiday to Walt Disney World, and keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official news and updates on events that may be happening during your stay.
