which resort is the most convenient to the park so that when the baby needs to take a nap I can easily and quickly get there and then get back to the park when she gets up. A resort that has in room childcare and kid friendly activities?

You have a few choices of resorts that are just a "stones throw" from the parks, depending on which park you think you'll visit most often.

If it is the Magic Kingdom, the Contemporary, the Polynesian, and the Grand Floridian are a short monorail ride to the park.

If it is Epcot, the Yacht/Beach Club are within walking distance & a medium boat ride to Disney's Hollywood Studios, too.  I do need to note that Epcot is quite large, so to get to the exit can be quite a walk depending on where you are in the park.

If it is the Animal Kingdom, the Animal Kingdom Lodge is an amazingly short bus ride away to the park, but the bus ride to the 3 other parks (especially the Magic Kingdom) is longer.

All the resorts have kid friendly activities as well as in room childcare available!
